Louisville Country Dancers hosts American contra dance and folk music events at Highlands Community Campus, 1228 E. Breckinridge St., with dances on Mondays and the third Saturday of each month. Free beginners lessons start at 7:30 before Monday dances, no partner is needed, and the first visit is free; later admission is a sliding scale with a suggested $10 Monday or $15 Saturday donation.
